Poor Onslow is now looking for an owner who will care for him, as reported on Need To Know.

A spokesperson for the animal charity said: “We have launched a special rehoming appeal for a stray cat rescued with cat fight wounds.
“Who the charity believe had also been cruelly shot with a BB gun.
“Onslow was in a sorry state when rescued.
“As a stray cat, he was covered in wounds from fighting with other cats.

“But he also had rubber pellets – suspected to be from a BB gun – in his chest and leg.”
Donna Rich, cattery supervisor, said: “Despite seemingly being abused by people, he is so sweet-natured.
“And just loves being around people, having some fuss or taking a nap on a cosy lap.
“The pellets were old and didn’t seem to have caused him much damage although it must’ve been extremely painful and distressing at the time.”
