A Married at First Sight star has been forced to explain his use of a ‘racial slur’.
Eliot Donovan landed himself in hot water after posting a video online in which he used the shocking term.
The business owner, 35, appeared on MAFS Australia this year and went through two brides before calling it quits on screen.

The reality TV show star lasted a few days with his first bride, Lauren Hall, before making a surprise return with Veronica Cloherty later in the series.
Eliot has now hooked up with another former bride, Jamie Marinos, 28, who failed to find love on the show with groom Dave Hand.

Recently, the 35-year-old, from the Gold Coast, Queensland, posted the word ‘wog’, which in British English is a racial slur used to refer to black people.
But the reality star quickly explained that in Australian English, it’s used in an endearing way to refer to people from the Mediterranean region, as reported by Need To Know.
While extremely derogatory in British English, in Australian English, it may be considered non-offensive, depending on how the word is used, due to reclamation and changing connotations.
Eliot stated: “If you’re from the UK and you’re freaking out about my last post don’t stress, wog has a completely different meaning in Australia.
“It’s used to refer to someone with Southern European heritage, someone like myself, and is used in an endearing way, just like I did in my post.”
Eagle-eyed Brits were shocked by the word.
Hayley Walker said: “We’re not allowed that word in the UK.”

Eliza Maguire said, “Okay, yeah, you can’t say that in the UK.”
Amanda said, “What does that word mean in Australia?
“You can’t casually drop that word in the UK.”
Jeff said, “That’s not what that means here in the UK.”

Another said, “Ok, that means something else in the UK.”
