A family-of-four have been found dead with “fatal knife wounds” in what authorities say is an “apparent murder-suicide”.
Jeremy Koch is suspected of having killed his wife and two children before taking his own life.
The 42-year-old was discovered alongside his wife Bailey, 41, and their two sons, Hudson, 18, and Asher, 16.

Officers from the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the residence on 10 May at around 9.45am.
The family were found dead at their residence in Johnson Lake, in south central Nebraska, and a knife was also discovered, according to Nebraska State Patrol.

An investigation is currently ongoing to determine what led to the tragedy with The Dawson County Attorney ordering that the bodies be autopsied, as reported by Need To Know.
Hudson, the couple’s eldest son, was set to graduate from high school on the same day that the family were found, PEOPLE reports.

“The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Eustis Fire & Rescue, the Nebraska State Patrol, and the Dawson County Attorney,” said the Nebraska State Patrol.
“The Nebraska State Patrol is the lead agency in the homicide investigation.
“The investigation remains ongoing.

“The Nebraska State Patrol, the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, Eustis Fire and Rescue, and the Dawson County Attorney extend condolences to all, across multiple communities, who will be affected by this incident.”
