A bull weighing nearly a tonne has been rescued after getting trapped in a bog.
Bruce was stuck up to his shoulders in mud.
Rescuers used special equipment to safely haul the 126 stone – 800kg or 0.8 of a tonne – farm animal.

Crews were called to help the nine-year-old stock bull that had become distressed near Llanfihangel Nant Bran, Brecon, Powys.

A Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service all-terrain vehicle and a pick-up truck were used in the “challenging” extrication on Sunday (11 May).
Bruce’s owner, Marilyn Jones, thanked the rescuers and Honddu Vets.

She said, “Bruce is now happy eating in his field, having been for a long walk since being rescued.”
It took more than two-and-a-half hours, and staff used trowels to help the stricken mammal, as reported by Need To Know.
A fire service spokesman said: “Crews utilised animal rescue lines, slings, straps and trowels.

“But crews successfully rescued Bruce, who was soon back in his field.”
People online were thrilled with the outcome.
