An injured baby dolphin was saved by quick-thinking lifeguards after it washed up on a tourist beach.
The poor creature found itself stuck on a rock jetty on Saturday (26 July).
Lifeguards who attended the scene realised it had likely been hit by a vessel and was unable to swim.

The dolphin was lifted out of the water, removed from the beach and taken to a local care group, as reported by Need To Know.
After being rescued by members of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue at Haulover Beach, Miami, it will now recover from its injuries with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

It will later be released back into the wild.
After the news was shared on social media, one person said: “Thank you so much for saving him.”

Stephanie added: “Poor baby. Wishing it a speedy recovery.”
Another said: “Great job. Slow down outboards.”

Judy commented: “The MDFR (Miami-Dade Fire Rescue) is amazing! I hope it will recover quickly.”
