A budding football star has been killed in a motorcycle crash.
José Antonio Barrientos López, better known as ‘Toñito’, was alone when he reportedly crashed his motorbike into a power pole.
The talented footballer’s life was cut short aged 20.

He played for the team FC Amigos in the regional Omoa League in Honduras, but was tipped to make a move to a bigger league in South America.
A club spokesperson said he was “a great friend, player, and brother within the team,” as reported by Need To Know.
According to local reports, he crashed into a utility pole near the club’s training ground in Tulián Río on Friday night (10 Oct).

Bystanders tried to help the seriously injured footballer at the scene, but he succumbed to his injuries before an ambulance could arrive.
Family, friends and teammates paid tribute to the promising attacker on social media.
He also came from a prominent family and was widely known in the area.
His family announced that his body would lie in state at the Tulián Río Community Center ahead of the burial in Puerto Cortés yesterday at 2pm.
José joins a list of 1,424 Hondurans who have lost their lives in road accidents so far this year.
