A woman has revealed her “anti-Ozempic” glow up and says, despite people calling her a “whale”, she’s thankful to be “all natural”.
Alex Aspasia is well-known for her body-positive attitude, where she embraces her figure no matter what.
The 31-year-old, who stands at 6ft tall, has now shared before-and-after pictures of her “glow up” with her 760,000 followers (@alexaspasia).
And says it’s with an “anti-Ozempic” attitude in mind; going from 180 lbs to 380lbs in a matter of a few years.
“I feel like I’ve become the best version of myself,” the size 26 model told Need To Know.

“When I was 180lbs, I was putting an enormous amount of pressure on myself to maintain a weight that simply wasn’t natural for my tall frame.
“I felt like I had to live in survival mode.
“Even though people around me kept saying I looked amazing, the truth was, I didn’t feel amazing.
“It looked good on the outside, but it didn’t feel good on the inside.
“And that disconnect eventually became impossible to ignore.
“It’s funny, because [now], I actually feel more confident and more connected to my femininity.
“I feel liberated in my body – like a grown woman who fully inhabits her curves instead of fighting them.
“I’m not chasing an impossible ideal or forcing myself into a version that wasn’t sustainable.
“I show up in my body with pride, softness and strength and with a self-assurance [my former weight] could never give me.”
Alex, who hails from Miami, US, posted a photo of herself before, while wearing a leopard print dress.
And then she reveals herself now – curves and all – while wearing a leopard print bra.
Users have flocked to the comments with their reactions.
“With room to grow,” someone commented.

“Both are sexy,” Ronni added.
Another person said, “I like your belly. You are gorgeous.”
“Fabulous growth…still as gorgeous as ever…curves are stunning,” commented Maurice.
Someone else added: “We all love the plus-size, well-fed, healthier big girl version more.”

Alex added, “My glow up wasn’t about shrinking; it was about expanding into who I truly am.
“The glow you see now is confidence, maturity and authenticity.
“It’s the energy that comes from no longer punishing myself to meet someone else’s standards.
“My philosophy has always been that people should do what they need to do to feel at peace in their bodies.
“I’m not here to judge anyone.
“If someone chooses to take Ozempic, that’s completely their prerogative.
“What I do find interesting is how quickly so many people jumped on it the moment it became available.
“It says a lot about the pressure our society puts on people, especially women, to be thin at any cost.
“While I respect individual choices, I also think it’s important to question why we feel such urgency to change our bodies.

“I’m extremely proud to be all-natural.
“We’ve reached a point where people don’t even know what’s real anymore – and that confusion can be damaging.
“It teaches women that ‘natural’ isn’t enough and that beauty is always something you have to buy, inject or fix.
“I want to show what a natural woman’s body actually looks like.
“Beauty doesn’t have to be manufactured to be valid.
“Authenticity is just as powerful, if not more, than perfection.”
Alex previously shared the reactions she gets at Halloween, with people calling her “disgusting” for wearing tight, revealing costumes.

This year, she partied the spooky season up in Las Vegas while dressing up as a staff member at the controversial restaurant chain, Hooters, with booty shorts and a low-cut, skin-tight t-shirt.
She added, “Big girls deserve to feel free and confident in their bodies.
“We deserve to have fun, to feel beautiful and to enjoy a night out like everyone else.
“So go ahead and put the costume on.
“I want to show that plus-size women can wear whatever.”
