A 19-year-old has tragically died after suffering a severe headache for three days.
Giulia Todaro initially thought her persistent migraine was linked to her menstrual cycle, but her condition worsened and she was rushed to hospital on Sunday (14 December).
Doctors believe Giulia may have had a blood clotting issue, though her family declined an autopsy, meaning the exact cause of death remains unknown.

She died just a few hours after arriving at the emergency room.
Blood tests revealed very low haemoglobin and platelet levels, and it was reported that she had been bleeding heavily at home in the hours prior to hospital admission, as reported by Need To Know.
Medical staff tried transfusions, emergency therapy, and prolonged resuscitation, but were unable to save her.
Her death was confirmed at 1:40pm, six hours after she arrived at Marianna Giannuzzi Hospital in Manduria, southern Italy.

The medical team had noted the possible presence of disseminated clots and requested an autopsy, but the family did not consent and her body was handed over for burial.
Giulia had no known pre-existing conditions or significant prior medical issues.
The sudden death of the young woman has left the local community in shock.
Mayor Lucia Palombella said: “I don’t know the family personally, but I know they are good people and that Giulia was a beautiful girl.
“I also know that her mother was extremely worried because the girl had been suffering from a severe headache for three days so she decided to call an ambulance.
“We are all deeply affected, our community stands with the family, and we all express our deepest sympathy.
“At her young age, such a sudden death from illness is unacceptable. She would have turned 20 years old in January.”
No judicial investigation has been opened into Giulia’s death at this time.
