A woman has revealed how she argued with angels and entered into a spiritual car wash after flatlining during emergency cancer surgery – and there was no sign of the disease when she returned.
Rosemary Thornton had been praying for a miracle after the loss of her husband.
But, instead, she was dealt with the devastating blow of stage two cervical cancer.
The author, who either hoped to heal or die, was rushed into emergency surgery in a bid to assess her condition.
Everything was going smoothly until her body went limp, and Rosemary was “catapulted” into another realm.
When she returned, all fears had vanished, and so had her cancer.
“I was completely startled when they told me every trace of cancer had disappeared,” she told Need To Know.
“I went for a follow-up appointment two weeks after my near-death experience, where blood work showed that my levels were ‘textbook perfect’.

“The surgeon said my tissue was so pink and perfect she would have never believed I’d had cancer.
“The cancer was gone – but more than that, my soul was made whole again.”
Rosemary’s husband, whom she doesn’t wish to name, passed away in 2016.
In August 2018, after suffering from unusual spotting and bleeding, she was diagnosed with advanced stage two cervical cancer following a biopsy.
After the aforementioned surgery to assess her condition, the 59-year-old began bleeding heavily, and her blood pressure plummeted to near zero.
Her monitor registered as “error”, and she recalls raising her arms toward the ceiling, with her fingers reaching up as though she was about to hold somebody’s hand.
And then, she passed over.
She said: “It was the most extraordinary moment of my life.
“It wasn’t gentle.
“I was catapulted out of my body like a ping.
“The first thing I declared was that my heart had stopped beating.
“I then told the universe I was no longer dying, I had died.
“I didn’t feel any terror, though, only release.
“All the anxiety, regret and sadness were gone.
“What was left was me – every part of my personality, even my giggle, went with me.
“I realised we carry everything that really matters when we leave this world.”
Rosemary, from the Midwest, US, recalls floating through a “velvety blackness” that wasn’t empty, but filled with peace.
She said: “For someone who’s always struggled with anxiety, this place was surely Heaven itself.
“I felt a presence beside me, then.
“I asked who it was, and they replied: ‘You are the image and the likeness. I am the Original.’
“I found it hilarious, as even my soul had a sense of humour.
“Before I came back to Earth, I entered into a white room filled with radiant light and a swirling mist.
“It was like a spiritual car wash.
“I was told I had been restored to wholeness and that it was time for me to push through.”
As a final goodbye, Rosemary was shown a vision of the nurse who had been helping her.
She was pictured sitting in a supply room, sobbing uncontrollably, convinced she had failed her patient.
The nurse’s grief was felt by Rosemary, as if it were her own.
To spare her the pain, she decided to return back into her body.
She said: “I lowered my hand from death’s door and next thing I knew, I was in the hospital.
“I felt disappointed.
“I even argued with the angels not to send me back.”
Tests concluded Rosemary had suffered a heart attack, and four days later, she was sent back home to recover – which is when she got the all-clear from her cancer.
Now, she’s often visited by angels who surround her and sing whenever she feels sad.

They are usually dressed in light, rather than clothes, and the more they praise God, the more they shine.
Rosemary’s brush with death hopes to serve as a message that death isn’t something to be feared, as our soul is waiting for us on the other side to return “home”.
She added: “After my husband’s death, I was broken.
“The angels told me all that darkness had been encapsulated – it was real, but it couldn’t hurt me anymore.
“The deeper gift was that my soul was restored.
“In the afterlife, I discovered God not only loves us, but really likes us, just as we are.
“It’s changed everything for me.
“I’ve now sold my belongings and moved to the countryside.
“I find pleasure in watching fields of corn and peanuts grow.
“To anyone facing the end, I can promise you don’t need to be afraid.
“What’s waiting is peace, joy and more life than we can imagine.
“The experience of dying and being in heaven and floating away from my body [has shown me that] people really love me.
“Death really is like waking up from a very intense dream.
“And this whole time on Earth is reduced to this tiny little grain of salt.
“It’s not a big deal.”
