An influencer says he’s been left traumatised after a woman launched a shocking racist tirade outside a restaurant.
Jimmy Bapu claims he was inside a newly opened restaurant chatting with the owner when a woman appeared at the window making hand gestures.
He alleges that the owner went outside to see if the woman was OK.

Jimmy then joined them when it looked like a confrontation had started.
He says the woman suddenly launched into a racist rant and called him a “P**i”.
“When I went outside, the woman was saying nobody would come to the restaurant,” Jimmy, from Newham, East London, told Need To Know.

“It was completely unprovoked and unpleasant.
“I told her to go home and she started using the hateful words.
“It took off to a whole other level.”
The shocking incident was filmed outside Axe and Ember Smokehouse, in Walthamstow, North London.
In the clip, the woman says: “Look at the state of you, you’re black, you’re a P**i.”
Jimmy is heard responding: “I’m sending this to the police now.”
The woman replies: “Do it because they won’t come. You’re a piece of shit. I’m English.”
Jimmy then says: “I am. I’m British born. My grandparents moved here.”
She mocks him, saying: “Lol. You from Bradford?”
Jimmy responds: “Oh, that’s just straight racism then. I’m literally East London.”
The woman continues: “You’re a P**i. You’re not from here. You’re Indian.”
At one point, a passer-by intervenes, telling her: “Take those opinions home”, before she responds by telling him to “f*** off”.
The restaurant owner is also heard saying: “She has literally just slurred racism.”
Throughout the exchange, the woman repeatedly insists: “I’m from here”, to which Jimmy replies: “I’m from here as well.”
She continues arguing with another passer-by and is heard claiming: “The feds will never come.”
Police were called following the clash in December, Jimmy said, but the woman ran off before officers arrived.
He added: “We were so shocked that it could happen to us.

“I didn’t believe it was real. It was traumatic. My heart was beating fast.
“I don’t feel like myself anymore. I feel dissociated. I feel like I’ve aged.
“I’ve experienced racism online but it’s the first time I’ve experienced it in real life.
“Seeing that it still exists in real life is shocking.
“There’s been a dramatic increase of abuse towards South Asians.
“I want to raise awareness of that.”
The Metropolitan Police have been contacted.
Axe and Ember Smokehouse declined to comment.
