A father allegedly hacked his 21-year-old son to death with an axe after a row over a training course.
Investigators say Andrea Sciorilli was struck three times while lying on his bed during the horror attack on Sunday (19 April) night.
He suffered devastating blows to the skull, cheekbone and chest.

The final strike is believed to have been fatal.
Andrea and his father, Antonio Sciorilli, 52, were alone in their family home in Vasto, Italy, at the time, as reported by Need To Know.
After the attack, Antonio is alleged to have tried to drag his son’s body into a shared garage in the building to hide it.
But a witness reportedly caught him in the act and alerted police.
Officers rushed to the scene and arrested him.
Andrea’s mum – a supermarket cashier – returned home during the incident and made the horrific discovery.
She is said to have suffered a medical episode after finding her son lying dead in the garage, still in his pyjamas.
Antonio, a health authority executive, later confessed to the killing at around 5am on Monday (20 Apr) following hours of questioning.

Police believe the attack came after a heated argument over Andrea’s refusal to attend a training course linked to a job opportunity in Piacenza.
Relations between father and son had reportedly been strained for some time.
In 2024, Antonio – along with his daughter, a lawyer based in Rome – reported Andrea for domestic violence, though the complaint was later withdrawn.
Public prosecutor Domenico Seccia said the killing was “carried out in a family environment marked by deep-seated tensions and conflict that had built up over time”.
Investigators have since recovered the axe – believed to have been cleaned and hidden after the attack.
Blood traces were also found in the flat and in the building’s lift.
Antonio, said to be in a distressed and confused state, claims he acted “in an attempt to defend himself” during a struggle.
He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
