A knife-wielding suspect, 60, collapsed to the ground in pain after being tasered by police.
The man was seen swinging the large knife in the street of a busy residential area.
Armed police were quickly dispatched to the scene, finding a man in blue trousers and a black t-shirt with the weapon.

The cops were equipped with the Taser 10 – the latest ‘less-lethal’ policing technology.
The attending officers approached the suspect, who had his hands in the air, before shooting him with the taser.
The shocking scene took place at 9:10am on 2 Jun, as reported by Need To Know.
The knife-wielding man was found on New Moss Road/ Liverpool Road, Cadishead, Salford.
The officers from Greater Manchester Police, arrested the suspect on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
The man remains in custody for questioning.
The use of the taser is in line with the officers’ specialist training – allowing them to safely detain the armed suspect.
The Taser 10 has been built to allow cops to manage high-risk situations better – whilst also minimising harm to the public, suspects and police personnel.

“Uniformed officers will remain in the area to provide a visible and reassuring presence for the local community following this incident.
