A wedding party had a terrifying brush with disaster after their tourist bus overturned while swerving to avoid a scooter.
Dramatic CCTV footage shows the bus veering sharply across the road before crashing into a petrol station and rolling onto its side.
The bus was carrying around 35 people when the accident happened near Kakkoor, in Kerala’s Ernakulam district, India, at around 10.25am yesterday (27 August).

The group was travelling from Kalady to Elanji for a wedding when a scooter suddenly moved towards the right in front of the bus.
The driver appears to brake sharply and swerve to avoid hitting the two-wheeler.
But the manoeuvre sent the bus out of control, with the vehicle skidding off the road before crashing into a concrete structure at the petrol station and overturning close to the fuel dispensers, while a car was stopped nearby.
Another scooter rider can also be seen narrowly escaping as the bus comes crashing towards him.
The rear of the bus struck the scooter involved in the initial incident, as reported by Need To Know.
Local residents and emergency workers rushed to the scene and helped rescue passengers trapped inside the overturned vehicle.
Reports said around 35 people were injured, with four suffering serious injuries.
The injured were taken to private hospitals in Koothattukulam for treatment.
Police have launched an investigation and are examining CCTV footage to establish exactly what happened, including whether the bus was travelling at excessive speed.
The bus ultimately stopped without hitting the fuel dispensers, potentially averting a much more serious accident.
