A groom shot his new wife, three guests then himself at his own wedding party.
Newly-married disabled athlete Jaturong Sukkasuk carried out the shooting spree just hours after tying the knot.
Traumatised guests later told how Sukkasuk, 29, looked glum at the bash, held after the wedding ceremony on Saturday (25 Nov).
He reportedly started rowing with his new wife Kanchana Pachunthuek, as guests tucked into their food.
After toppling their table and sending food flying, he reportedly stormed out of the venue towards his parked car.
Moments later, he returned with a pistol and fired at least 10 times, hitting five people, including 44-year-old bride Kanchana.
She died from her injuries, as did her 62-year-old mum Kingthong Klajoho, and her younger sister, 38-year-old Kornnipa Manato.
One guest, 50-year-old Thong Nonkhunthod, also died from his wounds, while another, 28-year-old Bamrung Chatherat, was seriously injured.
He was taken from the scene in Wang Nam Khieo to a hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima, northeast of Bangkok, Thailand.
The shooting spree came to an end when Sukkasuk turned his 9mm calibre pistol on himself.
Sukkasuk had used a prosthetic leg ever since his real limb was run over by a train during his time as a marine soldier.
He represented Thailand in the 2022 ASEAN Para Games in Surakarta, Indonesia, where he won a silver medal in swimming.
He was planning to compete in the 2023 World Abilitysport Games in Nakhon Ratchasima in December.
He had lived with Pachunthuek for three years before popping the question.
She leaves behind two children from a previous marriage.
Some reports speculate that he believed another man had feelings for her, but the motive remains under police investigation.
