A fisherman got a nasty surprise when an octopus suddenly latched onto his face.
He desperately tries to yank the clingy mollusc off as it grips his head with its tentacles.
Instead of helping, his mate films the ordeal and laughs at him.

The laughter grows increasingly hysterical as the fisherman’s struggle becomes more frantic.
After several seconds of battling the beast, the fisherman finally manages to tear it free.
He then flings the octopus onto the deck, looking amused and irritated in equal measure.
The bizarre scenes unfolded during a fishing trip from Progreso, Mexico, as reported by Need To Know.
The footage was shared on social media earlier this week.
No serious injuries were reported in connection with the struggle.
One viewer wrote in the comments: “Some mate he is – he’s no friend.
“The fat guy could have passed out and fallen into the sea, and then he might not have been able to get him out and revive him in time.
“He’d have had to pull him out, remove the octopus and then give him mouth-to-mouth.”
Another added: “You can clearly hear that he couldn’t breathe, and they were just laughing.”
And a third remarked: “With friends like that, who needs enemies?”
