A shopper has slammed Primark over its new Hello Kitty cafe, comparing it to a petrol station.
Fashion fan Jenna was excited to check out the themed eatery.
She rushed to the budget clothes shop in the Trafford Centre, Manchester.

But she was quickly left disappointed after walking into the cafe – which was in the middle of the shop floor.

There are several pink Hello Kitty Posters on the wall and a colourful menu as you walk through the door.
That appears to be the only themed decor in the cafe.
It has grey walls, flooring, and a seating area where several customers are sat down.
Jenna then checks out the range of food on the counter.
In a fridge, there is a small selection of basic pre-packaged sandwiches and cans of fizzy drinks.
Jenna mocked the selection – calling it a “petrol station.”
She then films the cake selection which includes Oreo brownies and Hello Kitty cupcakes.
But Jenna was left in stitches at the cupcakes which appear to have a small amount of pink icing and a paper picture of Hello Kitty.
Jenna claimed: “I’m getting minimal effort.”
However the social media influencer persevered and decided to order food from the menu.
She spent £12.45 on a bao bun and strawberry doughnut milkshake.
She claimed: “Looking round, it kind of looks like an Asda Cafe.
“It’s just got a few Hello Kitty pictures on the wall.
“But you know what don’t judge it yet.
“So foodwise all you can order is bao buns or waffles.”
She shows off her tiny portion of pork bao buns which were cramped in a white pot.
Jenna said: “They’re not even in a Hello Kitty-themed pot.”
She says she asked for the most “extravagant” milkshake which came with a doughnut on top.
But she claimed it tasted like “a watered-down ice cream with very cheap c*appy strawberry sauce in it.”
Jenna, also known as Big Fat Jenna on TikTok then compared the food to something you would buy at “Wetherspoons.”
After trying the doughnut, which Jenna said was “underbaked”, she claimed it looked like “something they hand out in retirement homes.”
She added: “I wasn’t expecting Michelin star food but I just thought a little bit more effort would have gone in.
“This to me is an Asda cafe with a few Hello Kitty pictures on the wall.
“In fact I think that might be offensive to Asda.”
The themed cafe is only available to visit in five Primark stores out of 192 shops in the UK.
It can be found in Birmingham, Manchester Trafford, Manchester Market Street, Braehead, and Edinburgh.
Primark fans were left in stitches by Jenna’s review.
One person called Ellie said: “I think you’ve saved me a £20 train ticket to Manchester.”
“Is Hello Kitty in the room with us,” joked another shopper, called Whitney.
Senski said: “It’s giving Glasgow Wonka Experience.”
Natz said: “Saved me a visit.
“I love Hello Kitty.
“This is a big let down, felt the same about their Disney cafe in the Birmingham one too – few stickers and posters and up their price.”
However, one person, called Summer, thought it looked decent.
She said: “The doughnut looks good though.”
Primark has been approached for comment.
