A 41-year-old base jumper, with more than 600 jumps to her name, has died after crashing into a mountain.
Extreme sports lover, Haley Precious was killed instantly in the horror accident on Saturday morning (6 April).
She jumped from the Becco dell’Aquila (Eagle’s Beak) on Monte Brento near Lake Garda, Italy.

The exit point is located 1,420m up the 1,544-metre-high mountain, according to the Italian BASE Association.
After she failed to reappear, the Canadian’s friends called the emergency number and mountain rescue workers were dispatched to the scene.
It took them nearly seven hours to get to Precious, who’d landed in a hard-to-reach spot amid rugged cliffs.
They lowered her body down to a ledge so it could be airlifted to the bottom of the mountain, as reported on Need To Know.
What went wrong during Precious’s jump is still being clarified.
But the rescuers believe she flew a few hundred metres before likely opening her parachute too early and crashing into the underlying wall.
Her body was taken to nearby Dro ahead of repatriation to British Columbia, where she lived.
Precious was a member of the Canadian Sport Parachuting Association (CSPA) and was an expert in extreme sports, with years of experience.
She had a degree in psychology with a specialisation in counselling.
She was a member of the CSPA’s Women’s Initiative Committee, which was formed to generate more female participation in skydiving.
The overhanging wall on Monte Brento, according to the Italian BASE Association, is “perfect for beginners”.
