An aspiring young model drowned after trying to escape a bear attack.
Andreea Cristiana Oană lost her balance and fell into a lake while running away from the animal.
The 18-year-old was on a trip with 10 friends when the tragic incident happened.

According to the local press, Andreea had briefly left the group to admire some nature when she came across a female bear and her cubs.
She was startled by the sight of the animal and tried to run away.
The young woman, who dreamed of becoming a model, accidentally slipped into a lake.
As some of her friends witnessed the fall, they quickly called for help.
They managed to pull her body from the water and lay her on the ground, as reported by Need To know.
Emergency services arrived and a doctor tried to resuscitate Andreea.
She remained unresponsive and was declared dead at the scene.
Andreea, of Iași, northeast of Bucharest, Romania, had gone on a trip to Lake Frumoasa in Harghita County to the west.
According to the local press, the 18-year-old was in foster care until the beginning of this year after being left by her parents aged five when they both separated.
She regularly shared modelling snaps with her over 3,000 followers and was passionate about acting, painting, photography, singing and dancing.
