A huge bird of prey has been rescued after it got tangled in a TV aerial.
The Harris Hawk’s terrified owner watched on in horror as their beloved pet yelped for help from the rooftop.
The bird could not free itself from the antenna despite constant wiggling.

Emergency services were called to the scene, and firefighter, Harry McWilliam, sprang into action.
Worried residents in Harlow, Essex, helped clear cars from the area so that an aerial ladder platform could be erected and moved into position.

Harry climbed onto the roof after receiving tips from the owner on how to handle the hawk.
The bird of prey was covered in a blanket to stay calm before it was untangled from the TV antenna.
The hawk was then placed into a box before being safely returned to the ground.
The heroic act was met with a round of applause from concerned onlookers.

And the saved bird even posed for a picture with firefighter Harry.
Essex County Fire and Rescue workers attended the scene on Sunday evening (27 Jul), as reported by Need To Know.

Station manager, Scott Fretton, said: “It was one of our more unusual animal rescues.
“Harry took advice from the owner and covered the bird in a blanket to keep him calm, before releasing him from the aerial and placing him in a box to bring him back to the ground safely.”
