A footballer was left devastated after his girlfriend was killed by an ‘illegal racer’ in a Porsche 911.
Francesco Tozaj remained by the side of his partner, Matilde Baldi, in the hospital as she battled for her life for five days.
The semi-pro striker said she “saved 10 lives by donating her organs” after her death.

Matilde was travelling with her mother in her Fiat 500 on the A33 motorway heading towards her hometown of Asti near Turin, Italy.
Their vehicle was suddenly rammed by a Porsche 911 GT3 with German license plates, according to reports.
CCTV images showed that the driver was allegedly racing with another Porsche owner at the time of the crash.
Matilde, who worked as a barista in the Nuovo Borgo Shopping Centre in Asti, suffered a serious head injury in the accident at around 8.30 pm on 11 December.

After five days fighting for her life, she passed away on Tuesday (16 Dec), as reported by Need To Know.
Francesco said he has been left heartbroken by her sudden passing.
“I don’t even want to know who killed her,” he said, “because nothing will bring her back to me”.
The footballer praised his girlfriend, who played volleyball for the PlayAsti team, as a “pure person”.
He said: “It’s absurd that my Matilde died like this, in a road race, it makes me even more infuriated.
“She was a pure person, and she proved it even in death, saving 10 lives by donating her organs.
“I was the first one to arrive at the hospital, and I was by her side the whole time.
“I spoke to her; I hope she heard me before she died.
“The doctors told me that at least she didn’t suffer.”

Francesco, who plays for semi-pro side S.D. Savio Asti added, “I was very lucky to know her and spend almost four years with her.
“She was a beautiful girl, but her physical beauty was nothing compared to her inner beauty.
“She was pure, she cared for me, and over the years, we laid the foundation for a life together.
“We were trying to build it, and now she’s gone because of a car race on the highway.”
The Porsche driver has been arrested as the police continue to track down the other suspected racer.
