A hungry lad’s night out turned into a full-blown farce after he had to be rescued from a phone box while trying to order a kebab.
Fire crews were called in to free the trapped reveller after he became stuck inside the ornamental booth.
Witnesses said the man stepped into the classic red box to phone for food – only to discover it did not even contain a phone.

To make matters worse, the door slammed shut behind him and locked, leaving him stranded inside for around an hour.
Footage from the scene shows emergency workers battling to prise the stubborn door open as onlookers watched on.
After a tense struggle, crews finally forced it open and the sheepish-looking man stepped out – even stopping to shake hands with his rescuers.
The mishap unfolded in the Deansgate area of Manchester on 18 January, as reported by Need To Know.
One eyewitness said: “He went into the box to phone for a kebab.
“The door shut behind him and locked him in.
“Only BT engineers have keys.
“He had no way of getting out.
“His mates were laughing but they couldn’t get him out.
“His friends tried for about an hour then had to phone the fire brigade.”
