A runaway dog caused chaos at a major airport after escaping from its transport crate and darting onto the runway.
Footage shows airport staff chasing the speedy pooch on foot and in vehicles – but failing to catch it.
The slapstick scenes unfolded on Wednesday (11 Mar) afternoon, halting operations at the airport for nine minutes.

Despite the disruption, no flights to or from Congonhas Airport in São Paulo, Brazil, were cancelled.
Gabriela Salles, who lives in Rio de Janeiro, adopted the dog, named Kim, in Caraíva.
She told local media: “A friend volunteered to bring her to me because I couldn’t do it on the day I returned to Rio.
“Everything was fine and she was calm. But after the first connecting flight, she got agitated, managed to escape, and put on that swooping display for us right on the runway.”
Eventually, Kim was cornered and safely returned by airport staff, as reported by Need To Know.
“She’s a dog that was rescued from the side of the road. She’s very timid, has never been outside the house, and was very attached to her mum,” Gabriela added.

Joking about the ordeal online, Gabriela said her friend accompanying Kim had “aged 30 years”.
“I’m still feeling sick just thinking about it, and I wasn’t even there. Can you imagine the scene?” she added.
Airport operator Aena confirmed: “A passenger travelling with a dog on board let the animal escape, and it made its way onto the Congonhas Airport runway.
“The emergency teams were immediately called, captured the dog, and returned it to the passenger.”
