Wayne Lineker has revealed the bizarre lengths Brits go to in a bid to sneak booze into his famous Ibiza club – from fake umbrellas to tampons stuffed with alcohol.

The O Beach Ibiza owner lifted the lid on the cheeky tricks partygoers try to dodge sky-high drink prices.

But revellers hoping to beat the system are out of luck, with tight security checks catching them out every time.

Among the wild attempts? Umbrellas with hollow handles filled with liquid and fake tampons hiding tubes of alcohol, as reported by Need To Know.

Wayne said: “Nothing gets past our security but we love watching you try.”

In footage shared by the club boss, security staff can be seen rifling through everyday items brought in by guests.

Confiscated goods included fake bracelets, phone chargers, umbrellas, hairbrushes and even sun cream.

The party island of Ibiza is famed for its nightlife and eye-watering prices, with drinks at the club reaching as much as £1,600.

The clip has racked up more than 6,000 likes online, leaving viewers in stitches at the creative smuggling attempts.

One person said: “Impressive effort.”

Another person added: “My favourites are the charger and tampons, good effort to those guests.”

One other person said: “Sorry Wayne but the last two summers I’ve gotten drink past them.”
