The victim, who came from Matagalpa in Nicaragua, reportedly paid £2,610 ($3,500) for liposuction of the back and lumbosacral region plus fat transfer to the buttocks.
She travelled to the Clínica Amate in Managua to undergo the op after contacting them via their Instagram page, according to reports.
Her husband, Kevin Molinares, said the procedure was carried out by Dr Livang Clifford Argüello Molina.

Dr Karla Ramos, a plastic surgeon, allegedly authorised the surgery and provided medical seals.
Jennyfer was discharged from the clinic the same day.
Hours after returning home, she developed severe back pain, breathing difficulties and blurred vision.
She was rushed to hospital in Matagalpa where she was intubated in intensive care.
Medical reports indicated a punctured lung, blood accumulation in the chest cavity, severe bloodstream infection, fat embolism and other critical complications.
Family members hold the medical team responsible, as reported by Need To Know.
Her husband filed a police complaint against the surgeon and publicly shared medical documents and evidence.
Dr Argüello was recently declared guilty by a Managua court of causing serious negligent injuries in a separate liposuction case involving patient Jhulianov Carolina Samayoa Morales.

Prosecutors have sought a three-year prison sentence and suspension of his medical licence.
Following the latest allegations, he changed his legal representation to lawyer Gabriel Díaz, who has filed for nullity of the prior conviction.
The authorities have not yet issued an official statement on the ongoing investigation.
Jennyfer’s wake was held at the La Esperanza Funeral Home in Matagalpa.
She leaves behind a young daughter.
