A spokesperson said: “I’m sure many of you remember her as a girl full of energy, active and curious about the world.”
“Zosia was always smiling and had a passion for sport, especially football.
“She also enjoyed swimming and was doing well at school.

“Zosia’s health deteriorated rapidly at the beginning of 2025.
“She was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour.”
Her parents, along with the football community in Olsztyn, launched a number of initiatives to support her, including raising money for her rehabilitation.
But despite those efforts she succumbed to the illness.

The Stomil Olsztyn Sports Academy spokesperson added: “Dear parents, family, friends of Zosia.
“Please accept the sincerest expressions of sympathy from us, from the entire community of Stomil Olsztyn.
“We are and will be with you in these most difficult moments in your lives.”
