A Dr Who film poster with Daleks on the front has sold for £3,640 at auction despite being tatty.
The colourful 30 x 40 inch design is among 416 that went under the hammer at the same time.
It is from the 1965 Peter Cushing movie Dr Who and The Daleks, produced by Regal Films.
However, it sold for a whopping fee despite being a bit creased and has marks and tiny rips on it.
The condition report for the listing read: “In very good condition for age.
“Some small nicks to edges. Clean reverse with a few light brown spots.
“Some light creasing from handling.”

“Some paper loss and tears. Needs attention.”
Another 007 one from the 1969 movie James Bond On Her Majesty’s Secret Service went for £1,430.
It was almost three times the estimate which was £500 even though it had “stains” on it.
The condition was described as: “Good condition, some damage and tape marks in corners.
“A few stains, pen on reverse, colours good.”

Also popular, was one from the 1983 Star Wars movie Revenge of the Jedi.
It was bought for £1,105 and was in “near mint condition.”
A poster from the 1936 film Dodsworth exceeded expectation fetching £1,690 – double the estimated price.
It was dubbed as being “very good condition for age.”

There was no mention of its condition in the listing.
They are being sold by Ewbank’s auctioneers, in Woking, Surrey on Friday (6 Oct).
Alastair McCrea, partner and head of department, said: “The great thing about film posters – and especially horror film posters – is that they almost always have very striking designs.
“Remember, in many cases the first time the public heard about the movies was when they saw the posters pasted up outside cinemas or on advertising hoardings, so to pull the punters in they had to be extremely enticing indeed.
“Now, as artworks, they provide retro chic and a lot of great artwork for your wall for the price paid.”
