Jailed drug lord El Chapo’s glamorous granddaughter has “fulfilled a dream” by singing on the street in London.
Frida Sofía Guzmán Muñoz performed a heartfelt duet with a busker in Leicester Square.
They performed a pitch-perfect rendition of ‘Shallow’ by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper from the movie A Star is Born.
A crowd of people applauded their performance.
Frida, 18, said: “My dream of singing through the streets of London.
“Objective accomplished.”
Her grandfather El Chapo – real name Joaquín Guzmán – was convicted of murder conspiracy and drug charges in 2019.
He’s serving a life sentence plus 30 years at the Florence Supermax prison in Colorado, US.
Frida is the daughter of Frida Muñoz Román and Édgar Guzmán López – El Chapo’s eldest son.
Édgar, 22, was murdered in May 2008 in Culiacán, Mexico.
Frida is passionate about singing and once took part in the American reality show ‘Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento’.
As well as pop songs, she’s sung corridos – Mexican ballads or folk songs – whose lyrics allude to her family’s involvement in organised crime.
She did the street performance last Thursday (15 Feb).

Frida is on a whirlwind tour of Europe, with Loch Ness and Paris among her stops.
Her mum, who’s now married to Mexican boxer Julio César Chávez Jr, commented: “How I love listening to you sing, my love.”
Last month El Chapo’s twin daughters, 12, enjoyed a trip to Disneyland.
They went with his wife Emma Coronel Aispuro.
