A grandfather who was attacked by a crocodile says he was “saved by God”.
Rodrigo Constain was bitten by the deadly croc while sailing.
The 68-year-old’s boat was knocked over in strong winds and he was thrown in the water.
The OAP was trying to sort his vessel out when the reptile attacked him.
Rodrigo said: “There’s only one reason that I’m here, It’s God.

“If you’re not with God, I wouldn’t be here. He was all the time with me and that’s what I think.”
He added: “I was not afraid, because when you believe in God, you are not afraid.”
Brave Rodrigo said he instinctively reached down to feel whatever it was that was latched onto his leg.
After realising it was a crocodile, he miraculously managed to force the animal to let go.
He said he noticed the pain immediately afterwards while swimming back to the marina.
The crocodile had locked its jaws on his left leg just above the ankle and went right through to the bone.
According to Rodrigo, his wife and friends saw the crocodile in the water from the marina deck.
He had been sailing at Flamingo Marina in the Everglades National Park, near Miami, Florida, US.
The OAP, who is recovering at the Jackson South Medical Centre, said: “I am feeling good because I am alive.
“It’s a story that probably couldn’t be told.
“I didn’t feel any pain, nothing, I don’t know why.”
“I didn’t know what was holding me because I didn’t enter in panic.”
He added: “I never thought it was a crocodile.”
Medics said it was a miracle his leg wasn’t fractured.
Doctors estimate it will take about a month until he can start walking again.
However, as he is a manual worker, Rodrigo is concerned about the financial impact of his injury.
He said: “I don’t know how I’m going to work since I’m a handyman.”
Family members set up a GoFundMe campaign to help with medical bills and loss of earnings.
Meanwhile, officials are currently investigating the incident and monitoring the suspected crocodile.
