The bizarre scenes were filmed at a petrol station in Curtea de ArgeÈ™ in Romania this week.
The chopper is 39ft long, weighs around 680kg, and can reach a maximum speed of 150mph, as reported by Need To Know.
It normally runs on avgas, a type of aviation gasoline for smaller aircrafts, but can also be fuelled by petrol with a higher octane number.
The owner of the four-seat light helicopter reportedly flies to Romania from his home in Germany for short breaks.
The same chopper was allegedly spotted filling up at a petrol station in Vințu de Jos in Romania just two days earlier.
At the end of last week, the German national was also seen at a station in SebeÈ™ City.
The chopper, manufactured in 1992, is registered in the US.
The Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority concluded that the German pilot did not have any approved flight plans and violated several laws, according to local media.
The authority informed the Federal Aviation Administration in the US and the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt, the national civil aviation authority of Germany.
It is unclear if the pilot faces charges for flying into Romania multiple times without clearance.
