Furious Co-op Live arena concert-goers have been left out of pocket on their hotels due to cancelled gigs
The giant venue, the biggest of its kind in Europe, has been forced to push back a series of events because it’s not ready.
The Manchester music arena, which has space for 23,500 people, postponed its opening gig with comedian Peter Kay twice last week.

Last night (1 May), the venue was forced to reschedule a gig by rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. whilst fans were queuing outside.
Earlier this week, the £365m arena insisted it would be ready to welcome singer Olivia Rodrigo.
She was supposed to play two sold-out gigs to start her UK tour at Co-op Live, in Manchester.
However, bosses have pushed back their opening gig for a third time.
This is because of safety concerns after an air conditioning system unit fell from the gantry.
Angry fans have been left disappointed amid the chaos, as reported by Need To Know.
They raced to leave negative one-star reviews detailing their experience – with many furious that they can’t get their money back on their hotels or travel.
The venue, which is yet to have it’s first gig has an average rating of 2.1 stars of Google reviews.
Darren Sexton fumed: “Concert cancelled the day before event as venue not ready in time.
“Venue management came out earlier in the week assuring fans that venue would host the Black Keys on Saturday 27 April.
”Flights and accommodation booked especially for the gig, unable to change flight/ accommodation booking due to the extremely late notice provided.
”Disappointed to lose out on cost of flights and accommodation due to unprofessional management.”
Patrick Harg said: “They canceled the concert one day before.
”Nice management.
”Do they pay the non-refundable hotel costs?”
Alyssa Ferriday said: “Show cancelled an hour before show starting.”
