A 60-year-old customer dropped dead in the same bank where a woman had allegedly wheeled in her dead uncle to get a loan.
Emergency crews were called to the branch on Wednesday (8 May) afternoon after she suddenly fell ill.
She had no apparent health problems, but as soon as she went into the bank, she began to feel unwell.

According to staff, the customer was given medical assistance near the branch entrance.

When the emergency crew reached the bank in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she was dead, as reported on Need To Know.
Local media did not reveal her identity or her suspected cause of death.
The bank said in a statement: “Itaú Unibanco deeply regrets what happened and extends its heartfelt condolences to the family.

“The client experienced a sudden medical emergency upon entering the branch, prompting the immediate activation of all emergency protocols, including medical assistance.
“Out of respect for the victim, clients, and staff, the branch will remain closed.
“Our employees have been provided with support and will receive all necessary psychological assistance.”
Twenty-two days earlier, Érika de Souza Vieira Nunes had wheeled her unresponsive uncle into the same branch in an alleged failed bid to take out a loan.
Clerks were stunned when she tried to get the dead man to sign some papers in a bid to borrow 17,000 BRL (£2,600) on 16 April.

They called the police, who arrested her on suspicion of attempted theft by way of fraud and desecration of a corpse.
She spent two weeks in custody before being released on Thursday (2 May).
She recently claimed: “It was awful that I didn’t realise my uncle was dead.
“I’m not the person they’re portraying. I’m not that monster.”
