In Istanbul, Turkey, an argument in a café escalated into a tragic shootout, leaving three people dead and several others injured.
The confrontation between two groups erupted on Ayazma Street in the Ünalan District around 8:10 PM, swiftly turning violent.

The victims, identified as Tamer Kazan, Okan Güner, and Veli Hakan Karakaş, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The altercation also resulted in at least five injuries, with two individuals reported to be in serious condition. The wounded were rushed to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.
As news of the shooting spread, distraught family members of the deceased arrived at the scene, overwhelmed with grief and horror. Emergency services on-site provided immediate care to those who suffered from shock.
Images from the aftermath show a large crowd gathered despite police efforts to secure the area. Riot police were deployed to manage the situation. Authorities have yet to confirm if any arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
The governor of Istanbul issued a statement confirming the fatalities and injuries, emphasizing that an investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances and parties involved in the conflict.
The statement read: “An argument between groups in a café on Ayazma Street in Ünalan District of Üsküdar District turned into an armed conflict. In the incident, three people died and a total of five people were injured, two of them seriously.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals and treated, and the investigation into the incident continues.”
