She immediately called the emergency services.
A team of animal experts arrived at her home in the town of Juan N. Fernández, near the Sierras de Tandil mountain range in Argentina.
The drama happened last Thursday (23 May).
Environmental police officers, park rangers from Necochea City, and representatives from the Granja Los Pibes wildlife rescue centre, took part in the capture.
They managed to tranquilise the four-legged intruder before releasing it in the nearby mountain range.
A rescue centre spokesperson said: “After receiving a call from the park rangers of Necochea, we went to the site with the environmental police from Tandil.
“When we arrived, the animal was in the garage of the home.
“We decided to tranquilise the animal before placing it in a container so we could relocate it, protecting its physical integrity and that of the people present.”
Rangers estimated that the big cat weighed around 12.6 stone (80kg), as reported by Need To Know.
It’s unclear how the puma ended up in Suárez’s garage.
The rescue centre spokesperson said: “Pumas in this region are in constant conflict with humans.
“They have been left with practically no natural spaces offering them food and shelter.”
