A small plane has crash-landed on a farm, injuring two people.
The pilot encountered a technical issue at around 2:20pm yesterday (19 Jun).
He was forced into making an emergency landing in a rural area.
The plane crash-landed on a number of hay bales at the farm in Buurtweg outside the village of Ederveen, in central Netherlands.
The craft took off from Teuge Airport, about 20 miles from the crash site.
CCTV footage shows the aircraft flying low as it speeds towards two buildings.
The plane then smashes into the bales of hay with a thud and stops dead at an angle.
Firefighters, police officers and paramedics responded to the crash in large numbers.
Researchers from the Dutch Safety Board (OVV) also visited the scene to gather evidence.
The two occupants – the pilot and one passenger – were trapped in the wreckage and had to be cut free.
The authorities said at least one of the occupants was seriously injured.
The condition of the other is as yet unknown.
Both victims were taken to the UMC hospital in Utrecht, as reported by Need To Know.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
