A doctor didn’t board the Brazil flight that killed 62 people because her dad begged her to “stay one more day”.
Juliana Chiumento was at the ticket counter when she received a voice message from her father.
“Go on Saturday morning,” he said.

Juliana was minutes away from securing her seat on the VoePass passenger plane that crashed in the state of São Paulo in Brazil, killing everyone on board, on 9 August, advice, as reported by Need To Know.

“At the last minute, my dad sent me a message while I was already at the counter, about to get my ticket and board,” she said.
“It was God who told my dad to send that message, so I wouldn’t go on Friday but on Saturday morning instead.”
Juliana, who has more than 35,000 Instagram followers, was planning to catch the flight to Brazil because she’s doing a specialty training programme there.
But in a message, her father Altermir Chiumento said: “So, sweetheart, if you can go on Saturday, go Saturday morning.

“It’s better. You’ll be more relaxed, calm, and at ease.
“Get there in the afternoon, rest, and see if you can reschedule for Saturday. If you can, go ahead and do it.”
Hours later, she discovered some of her friends were among the crash victims.
The twin-engine turboprop was flying from the southern state of Paraná to São Paulo when it came down 80km (50 miles) north-west of the city in the town of Vinhedo.
She said: “My mind is racing, but thank God I have a lot of support, and everyone is giving me so much strength.

“I need to get back, though. I live in Rio de Janeiro, where I study.
“I’m always travelling back and forth between Rio and Cascavel, with a stopover in Guarulhos.
“Every time I step foot in that airport or board a plane, I’ll remember the blessing God gave me.”
Altermir added: “It was a father’s intuition.
“I have so many reasons to be thankful.”
