Insane footage shows the moment climbers narrowly escaped death after dodging an erupting volcano.
Climbers saw their lives flash before their eyes as they scaled the rim of Dukono, an active volcano located in the northern part of Halmahera island, Indonesia.
Suddenly a huge ash cloud burst from the crater, billowing an estimated 8,000ft into the air, as reported by Need To Know.

The climbers quickly made their way down the mountain to escape the danger.
There were no reported injuries.
Jaw-dropping drone footage of the incident was captured on 17 August.
Since 1993, the active volcano has been erupting continuously.
Anak Esa, who recorded the drone clip, said: “To my horror, Dukono’s activity was so high that the volcano material was thrown out of the crater.
“Before climbing the summit, let’s observe first the wind direction, how strong the eruption is, and other considerations.
“Don’t force yourself to summit when the situation doesn’t allow it.
“Don’t forget, the top is a bonus.
“Getting home safely is the real goal of climbing.”
The climbers decision to scale the dangerous volcano has been slammed by members of the public.
Al Goodman stated: “Why are we on volcanoes?
“Why do humans do this?
“It’s like chasing tornadoes, I’ll never understand this need.”
Another said: “Wasn’t there a warning before going up?”
Brian added: “It will definitely be an unforgettable experience.”
One other said: “Why can you climb to the top like that?
“Was there no warning of an eruption?”
Another stated: “I know it’s your hobby but think again, don’t look for danger like that.”
