Liam and Noel Gallagher have finally confirmed the reunion of Oasis, bringing an end to weeks of speculation.
The iconic band will embark on a major UK tour in 2025, marking their first performances together in 15 years.
This news arrives just in time for the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, originally released on August 29, 1994.

Both brothers took to social media to announce the reunion, declaring, “This is it, this is happening.” The tour will include four nights at Wembley Stadium, as well as multiple shows in Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Dublin, scheduled for July and August 2025.
The band confirmed that these will be their only European performances next year, though there are plans for additional shows outside of Europe later in 2025.
In their statement, Oasis clarified that the decision to reunite wasn’t the result of a single, revelatory moment but rather a gradual realization that “the time is right.”
The band also acknowledged that the timing, coinciding with the Definitely Maybe anniversary, likely played a role in their decision.
The brothers, who have been estranged since their dramatic split in 2009, were recently photographed together for the first time in years in London, adding to the significance of this reunion.
Fans had been eagerly awaiting such news, especially after Liam teased the possibility on social media, including a message to a fan saying, “See you down the front.”
While details about who will join the Gallagher brothers on stage from the band’s previous line-ups remain unconfirmed, the tour announcement has put to rest rumors of an Oasis appearance at Glastonbury.
The infamous breakup in 2009 was sparked by a backstage altercation at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, where Liam reportedly damaged one of Noel’s guitars. This led to Noel’s abrupt departure from the band, ending their partnership and leaving a legacy of tension that has only added to their legendary status.
Despite their rocky relationship, the brothers’ music, including classics like “Wonderwall,” “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” and “Some Might Say,” remains a cornerstone of British rock.
The 2025 tour dates are as follows:

Liam and Noel’s reunion has already created a significant buzz, with Oasis’s music streams on Spotify seeing a 160% increase globally in anticipation of the official announcement.
Additionally, previously unheard versions of tracks from the Definitely Maybe recording sessions are set to be released this Friday, adding to the excitement among fans.
As Oasis prepares to make their long-awaited return to the stage, the question remains: can the Gallagher brothers put aside their differences long enough to complete the tour?
Regardless, fans are ready to relive the magic of one of the greatest bands in British rock history.
