A helicopter fighting wildfires has crashed to the ground after its propeller snapped mid-air.
Footage of the horror accident shows the rotorcraft attempting to capture water from a river.
During a turn, the rotor tail breaks before spinning off and hitting the ground.

The helicopter begins to spiral before plummeting to earth in a huge cloud of smoke.
An Argentine pilot named as Luis Abel Collovatti – the one person on board – made it out alive, suffering only minor injuries.
It is reported that he was able to eject from the chopper alone, as reported by Need To Know.
Emergency teams quickly attended the scene.
They were able to secure the area, which was in the commune of Rauco, in Chile.
The circumstances that caused the helicopter to crash are currently being investigated.
Carolina Muñoz, the mayor of Hualañe, which is a town in Chile, witnessed the accident as she passed through the area.
She is said to be shocked that the pilot sustained only minor injures despite the dramatic nature of the incident.
