A trip to the zoo took a shocking turn for one family after a troop of monkeys hijacked a pushchair.
In a video shared to social media, a parent can be seen pushing a stroller while holding a toddler in his arms when a mischievous monkey appears.
Looking panicked, the man begins to back away, keeping one hand on the stroller.

But suddenly another monkey comes racing over.
One of the primates manages to grab hold of the pram, causing the man to lose his balance.
He falls to the ground with the toddler as the child’s mother, who was filming the video, screams.
One monkey then runs off with an item that has fallen out of one of the bags attached to the stroller.
The other primate starts to rummage through the family’s belongings.
The man can be seen getting up in a state of disbelief.
His son continues to cry – visibly upset and scared by the incident.
In more footage taken after the incident, a troop of monkeys can be seen fighting close to the stroller.
The video was filmed at Shoushan Zoo, in Taiwan.

The zoo has experienced a series of incidents involving monkeys attacking people.
For a while, the park has been asking its visitors not hang plastic bags on strollers, as reported by Need To Know.
The monkeys at the zoo have no fear when it comes to guests, and zoo guards have to patrol with water guns.
Shopkeepers at the zoo also use large iron nets in order to protect visitors’ safety.
In a statement, director of the zoo Zhuang Yanzhi, said: “We try our best to advise parents not to hang food on the back of strollers.
“We will first use verbal persuasion to ask the people not to do this behavior.
“If the people are malicious or harass us, we will collect relevant evidence, and we will punish them in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Animal Protection Law.”
Many were shocked by the video.
One person wrote: “It’s terrible.”
Another said: “Why do you have to do this when you know it?”
“Don’t bring any bags there… As long as you bring the bag, they will definitely rob,” added a third user.
Someone else commented: “I feel scared every time I see it.”
“Shoushan Zoo is really not suitable for people with children and people who keep screaming,” remarked another person.
