Two tiny kittens were chucked out with the rubbish by a cruel cat owner.
The baby moggies – called Brooke and Sydney – were found abandoned in a wheelie bin.
Luckily, a neighbour heard the baby moggies’ meows.

They opened up the lid of the bin and found the kittens in a cat carrier inside.
They had been in there for several days, it is feared.
They were taken to the RSPCA where they are being cared for.

The animal charity is now hunting the sick owner who left them there.
They were discovered in Chelmsford Street, Darlington, Co Durham.
Brooke is a female tabby and Sydney is a black and white male.

RSPCA Animal Rescue Officer Ruth Thomas-Coxon, said: “The member of the public was alerted by meowing noises coming from the bin and found Brooke and Sydney inside.
“They were described as being very smelly, so it’s possible they could have been in there for some time.
“It was extremely fortunate their cries were heard, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to the person who found them and got them help.

“And to the vets for their assistance.”
She added: “What a hugely distressing experience it must have been for them and shocking to think that someone could have deliberately abandoned them in this way.
“They’re friendly kittens who will make lovely companions in a loving new home.”
The kittens were found on 11 January between 7.30pm and 8pm, as reported on Need To Know.
