A distraught woman spotted a suspicious man on her Ring doorbell with her cat just moments before she vanished.
Amy Mawson alerted cops after watching the chilling footage.
She noticed her 15-year-old moggy – called Bailey – had gone missing.
So she checked the device and saw the man kneeling down trying to coax the cat outside her home.
Bailey walked away and he then followed her before bending down once more.
The man was seen with his hood up and a rucksack on his back.

Poor Bailey is still missing
The 22-second clip then comes to an end.
It comes after a spate of other cat thefts in Mitcham, south London, where she lives.
Upset Amy said: “I’m sick to my stomach.
“It’s devastating happening right outside my own house and caught on Ring doorbell.
“Bailey is 15 years old and very frail. I’m really concerned. We’re all heartbroken.

Devastated owner Amy Mawson
Amy, of Longfield Drive, Mitcham, also told NeedToKnow: “I’m scared to let my other two out now.
“And also there are a lot of cats in this area I’m worried about.”
It happened just before 6 pm on Monday (24 Feb).
Bailey is a Manx cat with black and grey stripes and lighter grey underbelly and paws.
He has no tail, just a little stub and brown patches near his eyes.
Friend Kerrylee Pinkney said: “How can someone do that?”
Chantel Bhatti fumed: “Nah this ain’t on.
“This is absolutely disgraceful, why do people assume it’s okay to just snatch people’s cats?”
Kathleen Talbot added: “Christ is nothing out of nicking limits?”

There is still no sign of missing moggy Bailey
Stacey-Ann Pinkney added: “Oh no.
“Come home, pretty girl.”
Last November, Anabela and Joseph Cunha, also of Mitcham, were left distraught after their cat Simba was stolen.
A man was seen waddling along with the moggy between his legs.
It was also caught on their doorbell camera.
Luckily he was found two-and-a-half miles away in Streatham five days later and they got him back.
The Met Police has been approached for comment.
