Tourists screamed in shock as a blaze broke out on a ride at a busy theme park.
The fire started after a set of decorative lights short-circuited.
The blaze broke out about 30 feet up the drop tower.

Flames were seen halfway up the structure as onlookers stared in shock.
Minutes later, the fire had started to spread further up the ride.
The blaze broke out at the Fanta Wild amusement park in the Chinese city of Nanning, located west of Hong Kong, at around 6.28pm yesterday (1 May).
According to reports, the authorities responded promptly to the fire and it was fully extinguished by 6.56pm.
Fortunately, no one was on the ride at the time, and no injuries were reported.
Officials temporarily closed the drop tower to carry out an investigation into the cause of the blaze, as reported by Need To Know.

It is believed a set of lights short-circuited halfway up the tower.
One local said: “I refuse to go on rollercoasters anymore.”

“It was a scary fire, but fortunately there were no passengers at the time and everyone was safe,” added another.
A third joked: “Roll up, roll up.”
