A married father who allegedly killed two escorts reportedly told other inmates, “There were others, too.”
Vasile Frumuzache is said to have made the admission when the lags demanded to know why he had done it.
Among those who confronted him was a cousin of 28-year-old Ana Maria Andrei, whom the suspect allegedly killed last August.

The inmate splashed boiling oil over Frumuzache’s face at the prison in Prato, Italy, causing second-degree burns.
Following the attack, the 32-year-old Romanian was transferred to another prison in Florence, as reported by Need To Know.

Detectives are currently reviewing missing escort cases in regions where Frumuzache – who worked for a private security firm – lived.
“We can’t rule out the possibility of more than two victims,” said lawyer Marianna De Simone, who is representing 30-year-old victim Maria Denisa Adas Paun’s family.
Parts of Frumuzache’s testimony do not add up, say detectives.
The suspect claimed he used a kitchen knife to decapitate Denisa, but according to the post-mortem, it was more likely an axe or cleaver.
Adding to the confusion, police found four blades among some evidence he had apparently tried to burn in his garden.
Police also say his composure and the level of planning suggest he may not have acted alone.
Detectives believe he decapitated Denisa in the house where he lives with his wife and their sons, aged four and five, in the early hours of 16 May.
They say he likely drove the boys to school later that morning with the suitcase containing the escort’s body still in the boot.
During questioning, Frumuzache claimed he had killed Adas because she had threatened to expose their affair to his wife unless he paid her €10,000 (£8,450).

But De Simone said: “It seems highly unlikely that, if she had ever intended to blackmail someone, she would have chosen a person of limited financial means.”
Frumuzache’s stunned mother-in-law told local media: “He was a good person, from what I saw.
“His behaviour with my daughter, with my grandchildren – he was a good father.
“He never raised his voice with the kids, never laid a hand on my daughter, never said a bad word.

“He always worked hard, never took time off. If there was overtime, he’d take it gladly to provide everything his family needed.”
New inspections are taking place at the so-called “field of horrors” in Montecatini Terme, where the women’s bodies were found.
Detectives are analysing four mobile phones seized from the suspect.
