His black Audi A1 then collided with another car after 21-year-old, Giddins, failed to stop for police.

Giddins and the driver of a Vauxhall, aged 58, were both taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
A front seat passenger in Giddins’ car, aged 18, also sustained minor injuries.
At the time, Giddins had a revoked driving licence and no insurance, as reported by Need To Know.

He was also found to be in possession of cannabis and provided a positive result for benzoylecgonine – a breakdown product of cocaine.
On Friday (11 Jul), Giddins was sentenced to two years and ten months in prison at Bournemouth Crown Court after pleading guilty to all the charges against him.
He was also banned from driving for five years and five months.
A Dorset police spokesperson said: “The Audi failed to stop for officers in the area of the Canford Bottom roundabout before it made off towards Stapehill and collided with a blue Vauxhall Zafira near The Pure Drop pub.
“Giddens, of Wimborne Minster, was arrested and subsequently charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
“Using a motor vehicle on a road or in a public place without third-party insurance, failing to stop when directed by a police constable.
“Driving a motor vehicle on a road after refusal of grant or revocation of driving licence, driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of specified controlled drug above the specified limit, and possession of a class B drug.”
The smash happened near Ferndown, Dorset, in August 2024.
PC Tracey Street, of Dorset Police Serious Collision Investigation Team, said: “Giddins’ dangerous driving showed utter contempt for both the law and the victims who sustained serious injuries due to his reckless actions.
“We were able to quickly identify Giddins as the driver responsible for this collision and compile evidence to put before the court to ensure he was held accountable for his dangerous actions.”
