A singer was left horrified after a man pulled a knife on her in a horror street mugging.
Rebecca Callander, known as Beks, said she is getting increasingly scared for her safety in the capital.
She believes London is getting more dangerous – and revealed she has been followed home several times.

But Beks, from Brisbane, Australia, said her scariest moment came when she was assaulted at knife point by a man who had allegedly just stolen a phone from another woman.
She was heading toward Haggerston train station, north London, at about 10:40 pm after performing on stage when the shocking drama unfolded.

She said: “I’m just a girl trying to get home safely in London.
“I was approaching the station and heard somebody yelling, ‘stop him, stop him’.
“A woman was running towards me with two guys in front of her.
“Then I saw a car pull up and the two guys got in.
“The woman ran in front of the car and stopped it.
“This woman had guts.
“The two guys got out – one pushed her onto the road on her arse.
“The other guy came running straight towards me.

“I blocked him, and we ended up pushed against the brick wall.
“Then he turned around and pulled out a knife.
“After he pulled out the knife, we all stood and froze.
“But he then ran to the end of the street.
“Myself and some of the other people who had started to gather followed him from some distance to try and get any further details.
“And by the time I got back to see if the girl was ok, she was gone.”
Beks said the attack happened on Thursday (10 Jul), as reported by Need To Know.
She added: “I have worked between London and Australia for some years now and have documented my growing concerns for my safety here as a young female.
“I’ve noticed it has worsened over the three years I’ve been here.
“From guys stalking me on the train and following me home.
“London is getting increasingly more dangerous.”
The Met Police has been approached for comment.
