The body of a man has been found after a fire engulfed a row of buildings in a seaside resort.
Police said the body of the man in his 30s was found inside a damaged property.
The death was being treated as unexplained but officers said they were “keeping an open mind”.
The fire erupted in a building located between the former Narrowcliff Hotel and the former Hotel Bristol near Tolcarne beach, Newquay, Cornwall.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service crews were called out to the blaze at Narrowcliff at about 6:30pm on Tuesday (22 July), as reported by Need To Know.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Following enquiries to identify and locate next of kin, we can now confirm that the body of a man in his 30s was found deceased in the property.
“His next of kin have been informed.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but officers are keeping an open mind.
“Inquiries are ongoing and a police cordon remains in place at the scene.”
Anyone with information has been asked to contact police.
Footage showed firefighters battling the inferno as concerned onlookers watched on.
Thick smoke could be seen billowing from the vacant buildings which were earmarked for future redevelopment into apartments.
Residents were urged to keep windows and doors closed and to avoid the area.
It also led to a partial road closure.
