An influencer has shared how she discovered someone was using her face to catfish a man into cheating for a year.
Ju Isen was approached by a woman who revealed a bizarre discovery about her two-timing boyfriend.
The 35-year-old was told the love rat believed that he was in a relationship with Ju.

But the ‘model’ he had been chatting with was in fact a scam artist.
“This person believed they had been in a relationship with me for almost a year,” said Ju, who has 2.6m Instagram followers.
“He had only exchanged messages on a dating app.

“They [the scam artist] used my face to maintain a fake relationship.
“His [real] girlfriend reached out to me asking if I knew anything about this.
“At that moment, I was in shock.
“I had never heard of her or the man involved – and yet, my face was right in the middle of this story.”
The woman who uncovered the scam shared screenshots of the profile with Ju.
The scammer had used real photos that the model had previously shared on social media, but had also copied her captions and even taken snippets of her videos in an attempt to mimic her personality.
She said: “It’s crazy to think that someone built an entire character based on me.

“And even crazier to know that there are people believing it.”
Ju, who is originally from São Paulo, claimed this is not the first time something like this has happened.
She’s reportedly faced other cases of unauthorised use of her image – including one involving a man who spent more than a year sending letters, flowers and persistent messages to her.
He was convinced that they were in a romantic relationship – despite the pair never having spoken.
She said: “Unfortunately, we [influencers and models] deal with this kind of thing more often than people imagine.”

“There are people creating profiles with my name andmy photos, using my image to deceive others.
“And when this happens, it’s not just the victims who get hurt.
“I’m affected too, because my image is distorted and used to manipulate.
“Exposure brings good things, of course, but also this type of risk.
“And if we don’t talk about it, the people being deceived will keep believing a lie, and those being used will remain unaware.
“It’s unfair to everyone.”
