A monster pothole is so huge that residents joke they could take a bath in it, campaigners have said.
The gaping crater on a residential street is filled with murky brown rainwater and has sheer sides that threaten to shred tyres.
Measuring around four feet long, two feet wide and a foot deep, the hole has become a daily danger for drivers.

Despite being reported at the end of January, it has still not been repaired.
The pothole is on Brook Street in Stourbridge, West Midlands.
Andrew Tromans, of Dudley Council, said he was stunned by the size of the chasm and called for better repair methods, as reported by Need To Know.

He said: “You could take a bath in this pot hole.
“It’s on a narrow road of Edwardian terraces which frequently has cars parked on both sides.
“We’d reported it already but will chase it up.
“Lib Dems are calling for the more widespread use of hot sealing potholes bringing an end to bodge jobs.
“We need to get on top of the pothole problem and fix things so they last, not do it cheaply to end up doing it twice.
“I understand the challenges that the recent inclement weather presents but clearly Dudley Council needs to improve its road maintenance strategy.

“The social contract in our country is simple, you pay your taxes and in return expect to receive good public services.
“That contract is breaking up like the road surface around Stourbridge.”
Department for Transport figures show Dudley was rated red for highways maintenance, the worst possible score for tackling potholes.
Fed-up locals said they were not surprised.
One resident joked: “Should plant a tree in there.”

Another added: “Funny how vehicles have to be tested to go on the road, yet no tests for roads.
“Vehicle tax and council tax goes where exactly?”
Someone else said: “Neighbours have been reporting it for weeks.

“Thanks for chasing.”
While another simply said: “It’s like it everywhere.”
The outrage comes after campaigners in Great Shelford near Cambridge said the pothole-ridden A1301 resembled a war zone.

Local resident Miranda Fyfe claimed one hole was so big she could lie down inside it.
