An actress suffered horrific burns to her face after trying a viral birthday cake stunt.
Wang Tianyu used flammable liquid to create a huge flame on her cake before attempting to blow it out.
The 26-year-old said she had seen several similar videos online and believed the trend was safe.

She said: “Everyone online said it looked good so I thought it was safe to do.”
The Chinese actress, who made her film debut in Stephen Chow’s film The Mermaid, said she used 96 per cent alcohol for the stunt.
Shocking footage shows her taking a sip of the liquid before spraying it towards the candles.
But instead of blowing out the flame, the fire suddenly shot back towards her face.
The flames appeared to burn her mouth and neck as she recoiled in shock.
Her face and hair were briefly engulfed as the fire singed her skin.
Later footage shows Wang seeking urgent treatment at hospital for the painful injuries.
Wang, from Chaoyang City in China, said: “I searched for ‘birthday fire breathing’ videos and the results all seemed cool and atmospheric with no warnings or reports of injuries.
“I thought it was a safe trend for influencers to do, so I tried it.
“I used 96 per cent alcohol and the flame suddenly backfired, burning my chin and neck.
“I am still recovering.”
She added that she finds it “incredibly irresponsible” that related videos “conceal the safety risks” behind the viral trend.

Wang graduated from the Shenyang Conservatory of Music and entered the entertainment industry in 2016, as reported by Need To Know.
She has since appeared in a number of films, music videos and television dramas, including Sunny Sisters, Babel and Don’t Call Me a Love Saint.
