A woman who was pronounced dead for 13 minutes has revealed how she was sent back with the message that “death isn’t real – it’s actually only the beginning”.
Nicole Kerr saw life flash before her eyes as the Corvette spun out-of-control.
When it struck a massive boulder, she was launched into the air before “smashing” to the ground.

And she was later found by first responders “crumpled up like a piece of paper”.
Nicole, now aged 62, was pronounced dead and covered with a blanket – for all of 13 minutes until she was brought back to life.
While on the “other side” she learned a valuable lesson which changed her life as she knew it forever.
“I watched them pull that blanket over my body with a detachment that felt entirely natural,” the former Air Force cadet told Need To Know.

“Streams of brilliant white light flooded me from all sides.
“It wrapped every part of my being and felt like bliss.
“Instead of the pain of the impact, I only felt peace.
“And then, I was greeted by an angel, who I realised was my late grandfather.
“He showed me that the life I was living wasn’t really mine.”
Nicole, who was only 19 years old at the time, had just joined the Air Force cadets under the wishes of her dad.

While on the way back to base with a senior cadet, things took a turn for the worst.
She claims he made a sexual pass at her and when she said no, he allegedly “spun the wheel” in a fit of rage causing the life-threatening crash.
The Corvette, after slamming into the aforementioned boulder, had flipped and ejected both Nicole and the passenger onto the pavement.
On the “other side” she quickly realised that all of this wouldn’t have happened if she had listened to her heart and not the wishes of others.
She said: “I had only joined the Academy to please my father.
“I was living in a constant state of low-grade fear, trying to fit into a military mould that didn’t align with my soul.

“I’d been living for someone else’s approval and suppressing my own spirit to survive.
“I felt the weight of all that fear just melt away in the light.
“There was only total acceptance.”
The angel then told Nicole it was time for her to go back.
She felt devastated.
Nicole, from Colorado, US, said: “The thought of returning to a broken body was unbearable.

“I actually argued with him.
“I shouted that I didn’t want to go and that I wanted to stay in that bliss forever.
“But I had no choice.”
In the physical world, a bystander, who was an emergency medical technician, had given Nicole a sternal knuckle press – a method used to elicit pain and therefore, reaction.
Suddenly, her right pupil flinched.
Paramedics then performed CPR and upon arriving at hospital, she was rushed into surgery.

The catastrophic nature of her injuries were made clear, including multiple fractures, a shattered pelvis, crushed wrist, significant trauma to her head and chest, as well as nearly amputated foot due to nerve damage.
Luckily, doctors were able to stabilise her “mangled” body – but not for long.
She said: “Two weeks later, I developed sepsis and gangrene.
“My parents were told I wasn’t expected to live long.
“I was rushed into surgery where my heart stopped – again.
“After going to the brilliant white light, another angel greeted me and told me my work on Earth was not yet done.

“There was a mission waiting for me.”
The time of her death was about to be called as her heart started beating again.
She pulled through for another three months when fluid filled her lungs.
Nicole suffocated and had her third, and final to date, near death experience.
The message that her mission on Earth was not yet complete was relayed once again.
After being “zapped” back into her body, she made it her goal to teach people about the true meaning of life – and what death actually is.

She said: “For years, I hesitated to share my experience out of the fear of being misunderstood or labelled ‘crazy’.
“But then I found other experiencers like me and realised those 13 minutes of death were actually the start of my new life.
“Death is not the end.
“We’re all deathless beings having a temporary physical experience.
“I’m grateful to be able to talk about my experience and give strength to others.
“I came back to tell people they are loved beyond measure and help them look at God and Heaven in a way that is not filled with fear.
“My mission is to tell people not to be afraid of death so you can fully live this life now before you move into your next one.”
